After completing his tenure as Minister of Administrative Development in March 2014, Mr. Hani Mahmoud established and chaired Dar Al-Dar Al-Dar for Institutional Development and Smart Insurance Brokerage, which he chairs. He has extensive experience in the field of management and enterprise development through nearly 30 years of experience at the international, regional and local level. He also has a long and distinguished career with major and dynamic global companies such as Xerox, Vodafone and Aventis Pharmaceuticals.  He also has experience in a variety of fields and tasks including customer service, finance, manufacturing, marketing, human resources development, public administration, enterprise change management and digital transformation projects.   Prior to assuming the post of Minister of State for Administrative Development in 2013, Hani Mahmoud held several government positions such as Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Head of the Information and Decision Support Center in the Council of Ministers as well as chairman of the National Post Authority.  

 

Internationally, Hani has served as regional director for The Central European and Africa region of Vodafone International. He was also selected as Chairman of The Board of Directors of Vodafone Turkey. Hani has been Chairman of Vodafone Egypt since April 2017. Hani Mahmoud started his career at Xerox, where he was included in several positions, most recently the Regional Director of Human Resources For the Middle East and North Africa.

In addition, Mr. Hani Mahmoud is a board member of many distinguished professionals such as Nasser Social Bank Board, Aydya Investment & Development Company, Akdeaima Pharmaceuticals, Medical Professions Company, Future Medical Services Company and Sinai Tourism Development Company.  In the field of volunteerism, he was elected president of the Egyptian Society for Human Resources Management for 6 years. Hani was also elected president of the Egyptian Special Olympics as well as a member of the Special Olympics Advisory Council for the Middle East and North Africa. Hani Mahmoud also chairs the Board of Trustees of The Truss Development Foundation.  Engineer Hani Mahmoud graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University in the Department of Communications and Electronics. Mr. Hani Mahmoud has regularly participated in international conferences, speaking on important issues, including enterprise leadership, human development, change management, and digital transformation.
