Digital Transformation Manager

Main Mission

  • Overseeing all IT operations including staff and infrastructure.

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with factory objectives.

  • Managing and supervising employees in the IT department.

  • Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with other departments, determining and addressing their IT needs and requirements.

  • Stay close to the business in the last period (two years for example) to improve business translation (IT to business and vis versa).

  • Identify vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Propose strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software.

  • Prepare financial budgets and performance reports.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and vendors.

  • Ensure reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Education: 

  • Degree in computer science or a related field required - Master's degree preferred.

  • Proof of continued education such as certifications is desirable; such as; PMP, CISA, ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT5, ISO 27001

Experience: 

  • Diversity of the past IT experience (software development, infrastructure and managing tasks & projects).
    3+ years of management experience in an IT environment

Knowledge: ​

  • Good knowledge of IT & security best practices and guidelines.

  • Good knowledge of IT governance.

  • Good knowledge of IT strategy and how to plan.

  • Good knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery

  • Good knowledge of how to create unit(s) among IT staff.
